Pioneering Sustainable Infrastructure
Incorporated in 2008, Chemnitz Holdings is an infrastructure conglomerate focused on creating human-centric projects that meet the aspirations of prosperity, social justice, and sustainability. With a vision to address Sri Lanka's post-war development needs, Chemnitz played a pivotal role in bridging the infrastructure gap in water and environmental management.
Over the past decade, Chemnitz Holdings has grown to provide direct employment to over 650 individuals, with more than 1,000 indirectly employed. Chemnitz has completed nearly 225 major infrastructure projects in Sri Lanka and extended its reach to Oman, UAE, Maldives, and Bangladesh.
As Sri Lanka faces increasing climate risks, Chemnitz Holdings is committed to leading in water stewardship and climate-resilient infrastructure. Aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Chemnitz focuses on climate risk mitigation and environmental engineering.
Chemnitz Holdings is the only company in Sri Lanka offering services across the entire infrastructure lifecycle, including project management, design engineering, turnkey construction, heavy machinery solutions, and telecommunication technology services.
